Tania Gidel is a Le Cordon Bleu Paris-trained chef with a PhD in Management and a passion for Portuguese cuisine, hospitality and culinary research.
Combining professional culinary training with an academic background, her work explores how cooking techniques and flavour construction can contribute to healthier cuisine without compromising taste, identity or the pleasure of eating.
Through Portugal at the Table, she shares the flavours, traditions and stories of Portuguese food, creating authentic and engaging culinary experiences in Porto.
